1.e4 c6 2.d4 d5 3.Nc3 dxe4 4.Nxe4 Nf6 5.Nxf6+ gxf6 6.Nf3 Bf5 7.Bd3 Bg6 8.c3 e6
Better Qc7, controlling the h2-b8 diagonal, defending b7 and preparing to castle long after Nd7.

9.h4
played almost instantly. Objectively Bf4 is better, preventing Qc7

9...h5
This can't be good for Black as, after the text, White attacks two pawns at the same time and Black's pawns are too far advanced to be of any use for defence. Qc7, Bd6 or even Bxd3 are better options.

10.Bxg6 fxg6 11.Qb3 Qe7 [ 11...Qd7 was played in our last game 12.Bf4 b5 13.a4 b4 14.cxb4 Na6 15.Qd3 Nxb4 16.Qxg6+ Ke7 17.0-0 Nd5 18.Bg3 Rh6 19.Qe4 Rc8 20.Rfe1 c5 21.Rac1 c4 22.Nd2 c3 23.bxc3 Nxc3 24.Qf3 Nxa4 25.Rxc8 Qxc8 26.Qa3+ Kf7 27.Qxa4 Qb7 28.Qc4 f5 29.Nf3 Be7 30.Bf4 Rh8 31.Qxe6+ Ke8 32.d5 1-0]

12.Bf4 Bh6 13.Bd6?
[ 13.Bxh6 was better, bringing the rook to a bad square and ruling out castling short. Also, White's bishop is limited in its usefulness by his pawn structure.] 13...Qd7 [ 13...Qxd6! 14.Qxb7 0-0 15.Qxa8 Qd7-+ 16.0-0 Na6 and White's queen is a goner.] 14.0-0? See previous note 14...Kf7? 15.Bg3 finally seeing sense. 15...b5 16.a4 a6 17.axb5 cxb5 18.Rfe1 Nc6 19.Re2 Rhe8 20.Rae1 Bf8 21.Bf4 Bd6?? This should lose on the spot. [ 21...Qd5 22.Qc2= ]

22.Bh6?
[ 22.d5! immediately was better 22...e5 ( 22...Nd8?? 23.dxe6+ Nxe6 24.Nd4 Be5 25.Bxe5 fxe5 26.Rxe5+- ) 23.dxc6+ Qe6 24.Qd1 Rad8 25.Rd2+- ] 22...Re7 23.d5 Ne5? [ 23...Nd8 e6 needs defending.] 24.Rxe5! It would be a crime to waste that knight. 24...fxe5 [ 24...Bxe5 to avoid White's 26th move.]

25.dxe6+ Rxe6 26.Qd5! Rae8??
This may seem a bit harsh but: [ 26...Rc8 27.Rxe5 ( 27.Nxe5+?? Ke8 28.Rd1 ( 28.Nxd7?? Rxe1# ) 28...Rxe5 is winning for Black.) 27...Kf6 28.Bg5+ Kf7 29.Nd4 Rce8 30.Bf4 Bxe5 31.Qxd7+ R8e7 32.Qd5 Bxf4 33.Nxe6 Rxe6 34.g3 Bc1 and White still has a lot to do to win.]

27.Nxe5+
Black's last move prevents his king from side-stepping this check with a threat of his own, so he resigned. 1-0
